How to sign a PDF

  1. Choose your PDF. It opens in the browser.
  2. Press Signature and draw, type or upload it. Drag it where it belongs.
  3. Add text, a date or ticks if the form needs them, then press Download PDF.

Private by design

Most online PDF tools upload your document to their servers. This one does not: the PDF is read, changed and saved by your own browser, so contracts, forms and identity documents stay with you. The one exception is your own choice — “Email it to me” sends the finished file through our server to your inbox, and no copy is kept.

Questions people ask

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

Not unless you ask. The file is opened, changed and saved inside your own browser. Only if you press “Email it to me” is the finished PDF sent through our server to the email service, to reach your inbox; we do not keep a copy.

How do I email the signed PDF to someone?

Press Share / Email. On a phone this opens your share menu, where you can pick Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp or any other app with the PDF already attached. Or press “Email it to me” to receive it at your account address and forward it from there.

Can I correct a word that is printed in the PDF?

Use Cover (white-out) to hide the old words, then add a Text box on top with the new ones. The original words cannot be retyped directly.

Is it free?

Yes. You can open a PDF and try every tool without an account. Downloading, sharing or emailing the finished PDF needs a free Bol Ke Likho account. Nothing on the site takes payment, and no watermark is added.

Can I write in Punjabi or Hindi on the PDF?

Yes. Text you add is written in Gurmukhi or Devanagari exactly as your browser shows it, so matras and joined letters stay correct.

Is this a legally binding digital signature?

It places a picture of your signature on the document, which many everyday forms accept. It is not a certified digital signature with identity checks; for legal or government documents, check what is required.

Can I send a PDF to someone else to sign?

Not yet. You can sign your own copy and send the downloaded file by email or WhatsApp.
