ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲनमस्तेWelcome
Free Punjabi voice typing
Press the mic and talk in your own language. Your words appear as clean Gurmukhi text while you speak — letters, messages, poems or notes, without a keyboard.
ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਜੀ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਹੈ।
Choose your speaking language inside the app.
Audio is processed by your phone or browser’s speech service. We do not store recordings. Your privacy →
Nothing to install. Open it in your browser, press the mic and start talking.
Open the app, press the big mic button and choose “Allow” when the browser asks.
Talk at your normal pace. Your words are written in Gurmukhi as you go.
Read or listen to the text, fix anything you need, then copy, send or make a PDF.
From speaking to sending, everything is in one place, with large, clear buttons.
Words appear on screen while you talk. Pause, then carry on — the text continues from where you stopped.
A word came out wrong? Fix it right there. The app never writes over what you have corrected.
A danda (।) is added when a sentence ends. If you like, a short silence can also start a new line.
The whole text can be read aloud, so you can check it by ear before you send it.
Copy with one tap, send straight to WhatsApp, or share with any other app.
Save your writing as Unicode text or as a PDF with proper Gurmukhi letters.
Everything you write stays on your own phone or browser. Give it a title, search it, mark favourites.
Made with older people in mind: make the letters bigger or smaller, choose a light or dark look.
Switch language with one button. Each script is shown in clear, easy-to-read letters.
Speak Punjabi, get it written in Gurmukhi.
Speak Hindi, get it written in Devanagari.
More languages will be added later.
For anyone who finds Punjabi hard to type on a small keyboard — just speak and the message is ready.
Get a quick first draft of notes, essays, assignments and class material.
Stories, poems, news or video scripts — capture the thought the moment it comes.
Write letters, applications, notices and meeting notes in Punjabi, quickly.
Machine-written text is a first draft. These small habits make it much better.
Noise from a TV, fan or road spoils the words.
Hold the mic about a hand-span from your mouth — not too near, not too far.
Say a full sentence rather than single words, and pause briefly at the end.
No need to speak very fast or very slowly. Talk the way you usually do.
Always look over names of people and places, English words and figures.
Use the Listen button to hear the whole text — the ear catches mistakes quickly.
We say plainly what is ready and what is still being built.
Open it in Chrome on a computer or an Android phone and start speaking.

Punjabi voice typing for iPhone is being worked on. It is not ready yet.
Your recording is not stored by us.
To turn speech into text, audio goes to the speech service of your phone or browser (for example Google’s). This needs the internet.
Your notes are saved on your own phone or browser, not on our server.
If you sign up we keep only your name and email, and you can delete them from the app at any time.
Yes. Voice typing, saving notes, copying and sharing are all free. There is no subscription.
No. Sign-up is optional and can be skipped with “Not now”. The app works fully without it.
Use a recent version of Google Chrome on a computer or an Android phone. If another browser has no Punjabi speech recognition, the app tells you.
Tap the lock icon in the browser’s address bar and set Microphone to “Allow”, then reload the page. Check that no other app is using the mic and that the internet is working.
No. Voice typing needs the internet, because speech recognition happens online.
No — no speech recognition is 100% correct. Results depend on your accent, background noise and microphone. That is why the text is editable; read it once before you send it.
We do not store your voice. To turn speech into text, audio goes to the speech service, which has its own rules.
The Android app is being tested and a link will be added here once it is on Google Play. iPhone is in progress. We are not giving a firm date.
