For anyone who finds Punjabi hard to type on a small keyboard — just speak and the message is ready.
Get a quick first draft of notes, essays, assignments and class material.
Stories, poems, news or video scripts — capture the thought the moment it comes.
Write letters, applications, notices and meeting notes in Punjabi, quickly.
Machine-written text is a first draft. These small habits make it much better.
Noise from a TV, fan or road spoils the words.
Hold the mic about a hand-span from your mouth — not too near, not too far.
Say a full sentence rather than single words, and pause briefly at the end.
No need to speak very fast or very slowly. Talk the way you usually do.
Always look over names of people and places, English words and figures.
Check the full draft before copying or downloading it.

Browser voice uses your browser’s speech service. If you choose Cloud voice, microphone audio is sent directly to Soniox for recognition. Both modes may require the internet.
Your notes are saved in your own browser. If you sign in to a free account, your drafts are also saved to that account on our server so you can open them on another device; you can delete the account at any time.
Optional registration stores your name, email, chosen language and platform. Registration notifications may be emailed to the site owner. Notes and microphone audio are not included in those emails. We count visits to this site without cookies and without keeping your IP address.
Yes. Voice typing, saving notes, copying and sharing are all free. There is no subscription.
No. Sign-up is optional and can be skipped with “Not now”. The app works fully without it.
Use a recent version of Google Chrome on a computer or an Android phone. If another browser has no Punjabi speech recognition, the app tells you.
Tap the lock icon in the browser’s address bar and set Microphone to “Allow”, then reload the page. Check that no other app is using the mic and that the internet is working.
No. Voice typing needs the internet, because speech recognition happens online.
No — no speech recognition is 100% correct. Results depend on your accent, background noise and microphone. That is why the text is editable; read it once before you send it.
We do not store your voice. To turn speech into text, audio goes to the speech service, which has its own rules.
The Android app is being tested and a link will be added here once it is on Google Play. iPhone is in progress. We are not giving a firm date.
